Fishing Guide in NW Oregon: Steelhead, Chinook, Sturgeon

Buoy 10 is off and running!

August 2nd – Just got back from Astoria after the long anticipated opening.  Two of us fished Saturday and we ended up landing 4 silvers and a small chinook that went back.  Today the fish bit right on time and it was game on!  Landed two nice chinooks and then 2 keeper silvers, as well as a couple of natives that went back to continue their journey.

Tides are going to be great next weekend as well as we get later into August.  If you’re looking to have some fun on the water or learn a few things get ahold of me ASAP as seats continue to fill up.

Thanks!

Todd

  1. I am going fall Chinook fishing with you with my two grown sons at Garibaldi on October 3, 2016. I was wondering if I brought a couple of crab pots if we could drop them in prior to fishing and pick them up at the end of the day. My daughter in law loves Dungeness crabs and we are licensed properly. What do you think?

Don, You are welcome to bring a couple of pots and we can drop my two as well. Please be sure to have a shellfish or two.

      Thanks,
      Todd
